Ato Kuma Demeksa, Mayor of Addis Ababa
The reconstruction of the 4 Km Bole Airport to Meskel Square road officially known as Africa Avenue, started on Friday January 6. A launching ceremony was held around Bole Rwanda area in the presence of Kuma Demeksa, Mayor of Addis Ababa. The road will be built over the existing road and is expected to make transportation more efficient.The 60 million dollar project will be undertaken by CRBC Addis. The road is scheduled to be completed in 2013 before the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of African Union (AU).
